Call It Spring is a division of the ALDO Group. Founded by Aldo Bensadoun, the first ALDO store opened its doors in 1972 in Montreal. Today, the company boasts over 1,600 retail stores worldwide. Call It Spring was founded in 1991 and has grown into a well-known brand operating over 200 stores worldwide - and still growing!
In 2010, after a decade of continued success in Canada, Call It Spring partnered with JCPenney, one of America's leading retailers, to open over 500 shop-in-shops across the United States. In March 2012, the brand makes its foray into the U.K. market with the launch of 20 shop-in-shops at Debenhams. The next few years will see Call It Spring continue to grow, with store openings planned in North America, the Middle East and the Southern Hemisphere.
